The Regional Energy Agency Kvarner successfully presented SIMPLA at the 25th edition of the international congress Energy and the Environment that took place on 26-28 October 2016 in Opatija, Croatia.
The event hosted two conferences and an exhibition of equipment and new technologies in the fields of environmental protection, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. The first conference, Climate change and energy security in Southeast Europe: technological, institutional and legal challenges, was primarily devoted to environmental protection issues, while the second conference, Clean Energy for a Better World, focused on renewable energy sources and energy efficiency and featured, among others, the presentation of SIMPLA.
The congress enabled participants to showcase their past experiences, latest research results and future visions in the field of energy and environmental protection through a wide range of multidisciplinary topics, in addition to serving as an important networking opportunity.
