SIMPLA released new Guidelines for local authorities and technical experts involved in energy, transport and mobility planning processes. The document, which represents the third and final version of SIMPLA Guidelines, is available on-line for consultation and download.

SIMPLA’s  step-by-step methodology for developing, reviewing and adapting strategic urban development, energy, mobility and transport plans finds in these guidelines an invaluable tool.  The document outlines specific actions local authorities and technical experts can take to realize the whole harmonization process leading to approval, harmonized implementation and monitoring of a SEAP/SECAP and a SUMP. It also provides best practice examples and reference documents.

Enriched of the experience accrued by partners during the implementation of the project, this final release is currently available in English and will be translated and published soon in the languages of all SIMPLA partner countries.
