SIMPLA was selected as a best practice and presented during the 2017 Energy Efficiency Call Info Day in Brussels last 19 September during the morning parallel session dedicated to the engagement of public authorities in energy efficiency actions. Attention focused on SIMPLA’s methodology to harmonize SEAPs and SUMPs for integrated energy and mobility planning in urban environments.

Among SIMPLA’s strengths, the direct involvement of public authorities and stakeholders in the development of actions and the implementation of a comprehensive and easily replicable capacity building methodology, fostering the achievement of concrete results during project implementation and its prospective replication in new territories and countries.
