Diputación de Huelva, as partner of SIMPLA Project, held an event called "Actions on energy and sustainability in municipalities of the province of Huelva: European Projects" on May 3rd 2018. This event, framed within the European Energy Sustainable Week 2018, aimed to promote the lines of work developed by European projects that are currently being implemented by the Environment and Energy Unit of Diputación de Huelva. Likewise, the technicians of the service announced the future lines of work of the entity in the field of energy focused on electricity self-consumption and the promotion of electric vehicles and their charging grids. In the case of SIMPLA, the topics presented include smart integration of SEAPs and SUMPs.

The event was attended by around 50 persons including experts from different fields such as local governments, universities, energy service companies, environment foundations, and energy agencies, amongst others.
